Phase Three: Your Place

"Place" in this context means a sense of individuality in your mind's eye. The unconscious mind is busy making secure places constantly, situation by situation. You unconsciously, then, feel an internal cohesion without having to gauge each situation separately. This habit of your unconscious mind keeps you on a straight, unbroken path in life. It is your self.

Your mind has many departments. The unconscious is huge - and unknown. As you manage life routinely, you see no need for the unconscious mind. But on the occasion of significant change - unexpected change - your unconscious compels your body to protect you.

In Phase 1, intuition replaces conscious thought and intention. In Phase 2, your lifelong priority system provides order, a place where some benefits are taken in. In Phase 3, your adjusted demeanor can look into the new situation from individual strength and finds a place among others in the situation.

This process is unconscious, done for you in the process of body and mind. The importance of confidence is built in this place. It is a place built from intuition toward your singular life purpose. Intuition is in the vast knowledge of your unconscious mind, and your personal priority system identifies you as an individual before you engage.

The keywords for Phase 3 are Position, for the principle, and Relate, for the typical response. The system that is you, internally, reads the positions held by others and zeros in on a place for you. Taking a position allows a new form of confidence to form as a home base in the new circumstance. It is where the seed of new growth can sprout.

Transformation Begins

Just as a sperm entering an egg creates a new form, so does the entrance of the unexpected begin a new chain of life events. A transformation has happened that will grow a new form of strength in you. As a life process, the new sequence is simply repeating again, extending your original DNA into the normal activity of your life. This routine system in total is what I have named the 12 Phases™.

Consider this: your unconscious mind has the whole database of your life experience, and it has organized it around what is good for you. This personalized "good" is produced daily, even hourly. In order to produce a new good in a new situation, a good rooting place provides an area where your goals are the only ones your body and mind recognize.

Your unconscious intentions first show in your heart's mind and move into your daily life. The first three phases initiate the transformation while you stay busy with life. Life (external) doesn't stop, and the growth process (internal) doesn’t stop. The movements that develop the new strength and a new good are steady and easy in your unconscious, and your unconscious responses will begin to reflect the movements externally.

This is a natural system; a life system. You cannot control the energy of life, and you cannot predict the form it will take at the end. But you can see through the external indications and feelings using the timeline of the 12 Phases™. This takes time apart from your busyness to see, and provides a good life meditation.

One Unconscious Step at a Time

In this phase, the system makes choices that will hold true in your heart’s mind, regardless of external circumstances. Your conscious mind uses external factors to choose a direction but those choices can differ from the new decision, now in your heart’s mind. If you know how the 12 Phases™ keep the long game you can hold the true keys to successful living.

In using this year as a frame for the 12 Phases™, through March we have passed through the initial phases and, in a way, have set the direction for the future. Externally, life has not changed yet. The year's beginning passed by; we endured it as part of what is. As the time passes, the first three phases influence the mix in your subconscious strategies.

Next we'll move on to the "Energy" phases, 4, 5, and 6.
